 Objectives:

The Policy, Institutions and Processes (PIP) subgroup aims to create a working network around PIP themes, involving support and learning processes that engage field managers, NR and other advisers, DFID managers, members of the Sustainable Livelihoods Resource Group, as well collaborating agencies in host countries. To do this the PIP subgroup works to:
• derive lessons from experience;
• make these lessons widely accessible;
• involve advisers;
• support field officers (ad hoc missions);
• share ideas and methods; and
• develop a constituency (i.e. ownership of the SL framework)
