Thanks Mick for raising an important point. I would be happy to share current thinking on this issue with FAO staff in Rome responsible for steering the organisation to a more productive relationship with the private sector. I met one of the key people the other day. Please could someone recommend a suitable summary document that I could use to brief FAO managers. If they show an interest, perhaps we could take the issues further by assisting FAO to develop a plan to act on current thinking and experience in this area. What say folks?!
