Calling for Lessons on Policies and Politics, Power and Rights

I have been asked by DFID to synthesise what we have learnt so far about how SL helps or hinders us in the above areas. The aim is to produce a succinct note - something of an update to the Ashley/Carney (1999) publication: `Lessons from Early Experience'. If anyone - inside DFID or from other organisations - has any thoughts/papers/case studies that would be relevant to the work, I would be most grateful if you could let me know. I am particularly looking for actual case study material.
