IMA
International is currently delivering a development management
course in Cape Town, South Africa (18 – 29 November).
Participants are from Moldova, Pakistan, Ethiopia, Lesotho,
Mozambique, Sierra Leone, Swaziland, Nigeria and Botswana
and are working in a variety of organisations, from Government
departments to private sector and NGOs. Sustainable livelihoods,
and particularly the framework, form a part of this intensive,
practical course which takes managers through planning, implementation
and evaluation of projects and programmes. They will look
at vulnerability contexts and apply the framework to their
