Sustainable Livelihoods in Conflict Affected Areas - the case of Somalia

UNCU/OCHA Somalia is promoting the livelihoods framework as a means to better address the needs of vulnerable communities in Somalia (especially in the more conflict torn south). This is very much in the embryonic stage, and we have no specific programme examples to date, but we have developed an operational framework using the approach with which we hope to engage operational agencies. I am interested in hearing of others experience of using the livelihoods framework in conflict/ post conflict situations.
