Militarization, Violence and Livelihoods in Eastern Africa - Call for Papers

This workshop will explore issues of researching militarization, violence and livelihoods in eastern Africa.

The first day will focus on case studies from Uganda. The second will consider issues of studying livelihoods in complex emergencies in eastern Africa generally. For more details, see the workshop agenda (DOC)

There is still room for more graduate students to present on May 4th. Funds for travel costs for some UK-based student presenters have been generously provided by Oxford's African Studies Committee.
