It
is with pleasure that I forward you a new paper which explores
women and enterprise development in Canada using a modified
sustainable livelihoods framework. We would like to gratefully
acknowledge the contributions of the DFID/IDS SL Guidance
Sheets and web site.
The
paper was developed by Eko Nomos, a private consulting firm
working in micro-enterprise development and evaluation. It
is the first of a series of "lessons learned" papers from
a 5 year collaborative funding initiative called the Women
and Economic Development Consortium. It is called Women in
Transition Out of Poverty: An asset-based approach to building
sustainable livelihoods.
