DFID has commissioned the Natural Resources Institute (NRI) and
the Centre for Development Studies (CDS) to stimulate debate on
the relationship between business and the sustainable livelihoods
approach. The resulting paper addresses how the SL approach can
help to understand and harness the power of the private sector to
meet development goals.
