LEAD's Leadership for Sustainable Development Programme builds on 15 years of
international training experience, furthering LEAD's mission to inspire leadership
for a sustainable world.The LEAD Europe Programme 2008 is ideal for 'rising stars' from all sectors who
want to strengthen their leadership skills, enhance their understanding of
sustainable development, and join a global network of leaders working towards
a more sustainable world.
Who should apply?
- Emerging leaders (early to mid-career) from academia, business,
government, media, non-profit organisations etc.
- Passion and vision for sustainable development
- Demonstrable leadership ability or potential
- Capacity for lifelong learning
- Desire for continued engagement with the LEAD network
- Proficient English
- Computer literacy
Time Commitment
- Three residential modules in London (5-days), Brussels (5-days), Mexico City
(7-days)
- Three 1-hour online workshops
- A group leadership and sustainability project requiring at least 5 days input
over 6 months
- Pre-module reading and preparation

Fees
The LEAD Europe Programme fee covers all programme modules, materials,
course instruction, local travel, on-site insurance, accommodation and meals.
It also covers immediate entry into the LEAD network, lifelong membership as a
LEAD Fellow and access to online activities. VAT is included. Travel to the sessions is not included. Total training contact time equals approximately 20 days
(17 face-to-face and 3 online).
