Share Your Experience - ICTs and Rural Livelihoods

Livelihoods Connect

Maggie Ibrahim
27 October 2006

How have ICTs contributed to sustainable livelihoods of the rural poor? Through six country scoping studies in Africa, Asia, and Latin America, a global literature review and interviews with interested international development agencies, Livelihoods Connect in partnership with the Overseas Development Institute and InfoDev aim to provide some answers.

This project builds on the work of the UK's Department for International Development, the Food and Agriculture Organisation, the World Bank and the Overseas Development Institute and aims to test their findings and go beyond that work to identify why gaps in pratice continue to exist.

We are interested to hear from your project experiences and reviews of ICTs projects aimed at supporting rural livelihoods. Please consider sharing with us your views and lessons.
