In Brief:

DFID's forums on sustainable livelihoods have been useful for briefing consultants on the approach and opening up DFID processes. Demand for follow-up events to work through case study material and examine the practical implications for design, implementation and evaluation is strong. The need for DFID to be more proactive and open in its relationships with consultants was highlighted (Gaia Allison).
