Wellcome Trust has launched final call for proposals for their global grant scheme,
Livestock for Life . Awards ranging from £20,000 to £150,000, are
available. Livestock
for Life aims to strengthen links between livestock keepers, practitioners,
researchers, policy makers and other stakeholders working in the field of international
health. Open
to a wide range of organisations in Sub-Saharan Africa, South and South East Asia
and Latin America, particularly aimed at national and international development
organisations (NGOs), charitable bodies and other non-profit organisations and
academic or research institutions based in (or active in) the developing world.
