WECARD/CORAF requested the research presented here and financed part
of the study (alongside UK DFID and the French Ministere des Affaires
Etrangeres). A member of the research team was provided by CORAF and it
organised a stakeholder workshop to discuss the studys results in Dakar
in January 1999.

highlights the results and proceedings of an international workshop held in
Washington DC in June 1999. It provides numerous case studies of partnerships
between agricultural service providers and producer organisations across the
developing world. Six case studies are drawn from the CORAF Initiative study
presented above.
