Background |
The
Community Risk Assessment (CRA) Toolkit is part of the wider ProVention-supported
'Community
Risk Assessment and Action Planning' project which aims at strengthening
current community level risk assessment practice and advocates for
local level risk assessment that will inform and influence disaster
risk management decisions, policies and plans at sub-national and
national levels.
Amongst
the tools are those which take a participatory and livelihoods based
focus.
The Toolkit
contains four main features:
Intended
users of the Toolkit are international NGOs and their partner organisations,
local government staff, risk researchers and community based organisations,
active in developmental and/or humanitarian work.
