Background

The African Institute for Community-Driven Development (formerly Khanya - managing rural change) is promoting community-driven development and sustainable livelihoods in Africa. To do this they work in action-learning processes with government, civil society, business and communities, providing advice, facilitation, action research, implementation, sharing of experience and training.

Ian Goldman and Patrick Mbullu will be leading an Institute of Development Studies special seminar on Challenges of promoting community-driven development in Southern Africa. This is an open seminar and all are welcome.
