It aims to support local institutions and government to identify
opportunities and constraints for poverty reduction and regional
development provided by rural-urban linkages, and act on them.
Rural Urban Projects include:
- Rural-urban
linkages in Tanzania: the role of two intermediate urban
centres in the development of their surrounding regions
- The
importance of rural-urban linkages in South-East Nigeria
- Opportunities
and constraints in the peri-urban areas of Bamako and Mopti,
Mali
- Farmers’
Markets in Tamil Nadu
