| The
SD (Sustainable Development) Gateway integrates
on-line information developed by members of the Sustainable
Development Communications Network (SDCN). SDCN is
a group of civil society organizations seeking to accelerate
the implementation of sustainable development through broader,
integrated information and communication. In addition to over
1,200 documents organised by topic and region, the site has
a calendar of events, a job bank, web links, a roster of mailing
lists and news sites dealing with sustainable development.
The
SD Gateway hosts a Sustainable Livelihoods module entitled
"Searching for Sustainable Livelihoods".
The module is the result of an ongoing collaboration between
SDCN, Development Alternatives (DA) in India and ENDA in Senegal.
It aims to share knowledge emerging from household and community-level
initiatives in the South.
