Founded nearly 70 years ago, PLAN International is one of the largest child-centred community development organisations in the world. PLAN works in 62 countries on projects and initiatives that address the causes of poverty and its consequences for children's lives.

In the area of Livelihoods, PLAN supports initiatives which boost income or help self-sufficiency and can lead to increased social and economic benefits for children.Microfinance and Food & Nutrition Security are the two key areas of intervention.
