| Panos
works to strengthen the ability of the world's poor
countries and poor people to communicate - to receive and share information and
to voice their concerns. We believe that communication is an essential tool for
achievement of the Millennium Development Goals to reduce poverty.
Supporting and carrying out studies, analysis, pilot projects, publications,
and debates, Panos works to enrich our understanding of how communication works
for development; to stimulate greater awareness among development donors and policy
makers of the important role of communication; and to build greater commitment
among international and national communication professionals to meeting the communication
needs of poor and rural people. |
