Background |
| The
Migration Development
Resource Centre (DRC), in association with IMA
International, will hold two-week residential courses entitled
'Migration, Poverty and Development' at various dates and locations
during 2008. This challenging two-week course is designed to
enhance understanding of the dynamics between migration, development
and policy, and to enable policy makers and development practitioners
to make informed decisions and improve governance over migration
issues. It is designed to be suitable for any development professional
with M and E responsibilities .
Course
Contents
Teaching will be delivered by members of the Migration
DRC, and visiting international experts. Key areas of study
will include global patterns of migration; the relationship
between migration and poverty; national and international
migration policy regimes; and enhancing the development outcomes
of migration.
