-African fisheries - raising the stocks | | |

This interview is with Fabio Pittaluga of the FAO's Sustainable
Fisheries Livelihoods Programme, and covers two projects, in
Guinea and Niger. In Guinea, local fishing communities
are helping the government to control encroachments by commercial
fleets, while in Niger fish farmers are being supported to increase
production from seasonal lakes.
