Purpose

Livelihoods thinking results in an alternative approach to the norm in terms of understanding the challenges and implications of market access for small scale producers. This is a collaborative working space to share summaries of interest and current areas of work in the area of livelihoods and markets.

The objectives of the groups are:

  • Sharing and testing market tools
  • Gathering evidence / making the case for livelihood approaches to market development and impact
  • Developing the capacity of sub-group members
  • Developing policy messages
